A pack of three HotForge Screwgate Carabiners can go a long way in anyone’s climbing quiver. You can use all three and only a climbing rope to create an anchor for yourself and a belay station for your second, or you can add a sling or two to make a standard anchor station. Despite being compact in your backpack, each carabiner’s nose is wide enough to accept clove hitches.
